It bothers me if he gets another season because I see zero reason that he knows how to fix this mess. Throwing money at it is not going to work.

No, really no for me at least. I think, most people here are relieved about the points but totally annoyed and p*ssed off that we’re forced to watch this garbage regularly. Aside from the late improvement in the second half, the rest was infuriating and hard to watch. Honestly.

My feeling is that there has been something very wrong with our coaching. I’m not sure that Slot is the main cause of it, but ultimately it’s up to him to sort it out.
I have definitely seen an improvement since the set piece coach left, but we seem to have gone from crap to mediocre.
The choice isn’t based on past performance, but on expected performance going forward. If we have fixed things behind the scenes then maybe Slot is the right guy going forward.
The first half today was dreadful. Maybe you could pinpoint the Wirtz withdrawal as a key factor, but unexpected injuries happen. You expect the coach to deal with it.

I remember how bad we were when Klopp had to cope with late withdrawals.
And you could spot them as he would have an additional goalkeeper on the bench.

The one where we had 66%, created 4 big chances compared to their 1 and scored a goal.
Intriguing to note most of that happens when he puts a player who can be classed as a right back on and a young winger who is out to prove something. I don’t think Jones does anything for us back there frankly.

Thing is it’s clearly play shit for the first half, hope not to concede do something at half time that somehow demonstrates a better footballing side.
It’s baffling at this moment and it wasn’t unknown to happen under Klopp.
Maybe it’s entirely down to me missing most first half’s this season.
