Arsenal - where FA Cup dreams go to die. Innit, fam

Eh?

They’d need to win 3 and us to lose 3 to make up 9 points with GD you could say 7.

If we lose three and they win three, the goal difference will most likely be eradicated. Can’t say that for sure though.

Still, we have a nice cushion and hopefully Slot will make sure we keep working hard to press home our advantage. But it’s not just hard work. He is an excellent coach and the passing, moving and interplay is a notch above, while also retaining the pressing machine we had going too.

Win 14 games and Arsenal have to be near on perfect.

14 makes it 87 points make one of those wins against Arsenal and they are near on needing perfection.

I think Arteta is a bit bold to make this claim before two tough road games.

Yes teams don’t win all their games, but he’s gotta remember his team also follows that logic.

I hate to be that guy, but email’s been around long before Google.

Yeah I like to be the nerd who brings up when the first email was first sent.

I’m not invited to many parties.

When I send this to my Arsenal mate, I fully expect him to be telling me all about AOL and the like, way before Gmail…

It’s a good gag, mind.

I think they’ll try to sign Olmo; he’s just become a free agent.

Not sure if Olmo is what they need, they have a number of those #10’s or false #9’s.

Understand if many top clubs will at least consider him because he’s a top quality player, but surely there’s more room/need for him at some other places.

I do think that Barca will find a way to keep him, plus the player will probably do all he can as well. Maybe show a bit of patience.

Don’t think Dani’s aim is to rush somewhere else immediately.

Where would Arteta be without Daddy Pep helping him sign (former) City players.

Not saying Jesus und Zinchenko have been a huge success but especially in the first 1,5 years they’ve been very important for them.
He tried similar with the Sterling loan.

So I fully expect them to go for Leroy Sane who will be 29 this month and is out of contract.

What are their options though?

2 coursts have ruled in favour of La Liga inblocking his registration due to financial issues, so until those financial issues get cleared (but the fact the have sold off future eanings for the last 2 summers I don’t see what they can do other than sell a number of players, and the obvious one to start with would be a player you aren’t allowed to register

Yeah, I would be a little irked with this arrogance if I was a Brentford player.
