Our play is fine until the last 3rd then the forwards just start hacking and swiping at the ball like its a wasp.

- We still can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo in open play.
- Curtis Jones is offering absolutely nothing.

Our midfield is simply lacking again. Giving the ball away cheaply.
Comedy gold.
Our play has been for Ali or Trent to hoof it to our forwards who can’t trap a ball, almost nothing is going through the midfield.
Probably why we’ve created very little in open play.
I bet it looks like a XXXL on an 11 year old.

What an absurd rule that is. He seemingly would need to get 2 yellows in the space of 5 pens to get sent off, which makes you wonder why everyone doesnt completely shit house during the pens if its near impossible to send them off

Still need to tighten up our passing, still some sloppy passes when an easy ball is on, we also need to keep up the movement and rotation into passing lanes if you dont receive it,

Exactly, instead of the forwards, the midfield has broken up attacks the most and ended up getting dangerous counters !!

Okay, I overreacted a bit, we were the better team for the last 15 minutes. But we still need to raise our game for a whole level to have any chance of progressing.

In my 6-a-side league last night I took a rare foray forward from my natural CB role. Got the ball on the left wing, ran infield with it, split the defenders then changed direction, ran straight at goal and as the keeper came out I touched it around him to score. An absolute worldie.
Anyway, I don’t have a point I just want to share.
