I was reading am article that one of the Chinese electric car makers are launching a car that can charge up to 400km range in 5 minutes. I’m assuming that it will need new technology for the charging station, but that is a serious selling point over a Tesla.
I’m not even sure what Tesla’s USP is any more. At one time they were producing electric premium cars. Then it was self driving technology that appears somewhat unreliable. Now it seems to be fashion accessories for fascists. It rather feels like emperor’s new clothes now.

I dont think there is one anymore. Once other companies got into the market the two USPs were the big advantage in the Tesla charging network that non-native EVs needed an adaptor to access, and support of a man perceived to be a genius whose work deserved support.
The former can be worked around with a $200 adaptor and the latter is a perception that has been lit on fire

Yup it’s obvious the USP of Tesla we’re going fall more on the democrat leading customer bases.
Maybe those skips on wheels can just become gas guzzlers.
