Es wurden bei mir temporĂ€r kurz auftretende, aber gut behandelbare Absencen festgestellt, welche auf eine neurologische Dysfunktion zurĂŒckzufĂŒhren sind.
Diese können zu den zuletzt vorgekommenen Momenten fĂŒhren, wie gegen Leipzig oder auch jetzt in Heidenheim.
Ich weiĂ, dass diese auf den ersten Blick scary wirken - fĂŒr mich sind sie aber aktuell Teil meines Alltags. Ich bin diesbezĂŒglich in bester medizinischer Behandlung und sehr optimistisch. Der FO Bayern und mein privates Umfeld sind immer an meiner Seite und unterstĂŒtzen mich auf diesem Weg.
Wichtig ist, es besteht kein darĂŒberhinausgehendes gesundheitliches Risiko. In enger Abstimmung und in regelmĂ€Ăigem Austausch mit den Experten ist es mein persönlicher Wunsch gewesen, mich der Herausforderung zu stellen und mit der Freigabe der neurologischen FachĂ€rzte mich weiter dem zu widmen, was mir bei der Genesung am meisten hilft: Einfach meinen Alltag zu leben und meiner Passion FuĂball zu spielen weiter nachzugehen. DafĂŒr habe ich die Verantwortung ĂŒbernommen. Ich habe insgesamt ein sehr gutes GefĂŒhl und bin auf einem guten Weg.
Was mir auf diesem Weg am meisten hilft, ist, mit meinem Team und eurem groĂartigen Support weiter Siege & Titel zu jagen.

A close friendâs daughter was diagnosed with absence seizures a few years ago. It was understandably scary for the family until she completed the full workup and received a diagnosis. Fortunately, she responded very well to medication and hasnât had a breakthrough seizure in years.
I imagine finding the right dosage can be a bit more challenging for an elite athlete who expends so much energy on the pitch, but Iâm sure Musialaâs medical team will get that balance right.
The encouraging news is that, while the episodes are alarming for teammates, fans, or opponents who witness it, absence seizures themselves arenât typically causing him harm, and thereâs no reason to think he canât continue playing once his condition is properly managed.
