Bundesliga / German NT

Really? Looks like pre-game, warm up to me, but not necessarily photoshopped.

Surely if you were going to photoshop players on to an image, you would choose them in action, not just standing around.

In midweek Didi Hamann made fun of Dortmund bringing in Anthony Modeste as a Haller replacement.

Dortmund were 2-0 down when Modeste came on against Bayern in the 70th minute. He gave an assist shortly after and scored the equalizer in the 95th.

Yes Didi, because Dortmund shouldv’e instead spent 50m they don’t have on someone younger/faster etc.

Didn’t Modeste score like 20 league goals a few seasons ago?

Saw that Bayern removed Mane from the up top position to the left side. Now playing Gnabry with Musiala around him. Of course, Muller is still there and the second striker position is his. But interesting and bold to go after Lewandowski to a system without a proper stiker. We’ll see if they can win the two domestic titles and then how far they can go in the CL. As things stand, I assume they will aim to sign a striker in one of the next two windows.

Leverkusen are truly fucked this season.

Hertha is so crap :man_facepalming:

Where’s @Neukölln

Christoph Daum (68) reported back on social media with shocking news: the football coach has cancer. He received the diagnosis “as part of a routine check-up,” he writes alongside a photo of himself and his doctor, Prof. Dr. Juergen Wolf, at Instagram. He has been in treatment since then, the therapy would “work very well for him,” explains Daum.

“I am a fighter”

The football coach also addressed his fans and followers directly with words of hope: “You know me: I’m a fighter and will also tackle this challenge optimistically and with all my strength.”

In order to be able to concentrate on his health, Daum also asks for privacy. Nevertheless, he is happy about any kind of support and positive news. His final appeal: “Go to cancer screening in good time!”

Christoph Daum’s coaching career

Christoph Daum is known throughout Germany as a coaching legend. From the 1980s to 2017, he coached numerous Bundesliga clubs as well as teams in other European countries. VfB Stuttgart became German champions under his hand in 1992. A positive cocaine test prevented him from becoming national coach in 2001. Most recently, he coached the Romanian national team from July 2016 to September 2017. After that it became mostly quiet around Daum.
