They must be slipping. Usually it’s at least a thousand.

It’s not even as if they’re doing much that is experimental, right? There are areas of the BL I dont have much knowledge on, but these are generally looking like sides that you can reasonably argue is about the best they have.

Obviously like every national team, they have areas where they have more depth and other areas where they lack options. But it’s the clarity that’s missing, I think. Which players in which positions, which little partnerships, in which way, etc. GK and midfield options are quality. Defence had a drop in individual quality. And decide who does what in attacking positions. Some of those players are getting thrown about even at their clubs. They need to decide on something and simplify, find the best combination.

Lucas Hernandez going towards PSG.

Think football forgets a little bit what a shit move that turned out to be for Bayern. €80m at the time. Played a bit CB, a bit LB. But never concrete enough in either positions. 26.7 games per season for 4 years.

€80m turned into fugayzi fugazi.

And now he goes to a club where a part of the fans don’t want him because is born in Marseille …:scream_cat:

It was a pair of moves I didn’t understand. Both he and Pavard are FBs the way Cara was…can do a job but become less appropriate there the more dominant and progressive the team is expected to be. It worked for a pragmatic France team, but was difficult to understand how it was expected to work at a team like Bayern expected to be so dominant, unless the expectation was to move them into CBs over time. And if they are not going to do that it makes sense to move them both on.

Bayern’s changes in defence were a mess in last years.

They’ve gone through buying defensive full backs or hybrid full/centre-backs (for a team that generally needs to build a pretty dominant style of play domestically), a total random night club bouncer like Sule in the middle of that, having senior 5 right backs last season, now adding Kim on the top of having Upamecano and Ligt still not impressing as much.

I doubt he could catch a cold.

Bunch of bullies. What was the point of that other than inflating their already oversized egos at the expense of some part timers? Those poor blokes will be ridiculed for the rest of their lives, and for what?

I’m not sure if I have mentioned it before, but I loathe and detest Bayern München.
Dicks!

Club from League 9, apparently one of their main sponsors is their village ice cream parlour. Maybe they can use the attention to attract some Saudi sponsors.

I’d say sell their players for inflated price but then the Saudis seem to be buying based on 1980’s prices.

Would have stopped the game at 10.

Play the ball around and stop being cunts.
This shite proves nothing.

Anyone with even half a brain would look at the result and go only 27-0? This Bayern team must be fucking rubbish.

Would have been great to see Rottach’s manager speech after the match.

" I think the lads did well, we matched them man for man , but unfortunately we didn’t take our chances, and they did, up until the last 5 minutes I thought we still had a chance to pull it back, but the referee made a few decisions we didn’t have go our way "

In big Sam mode obviously :joy:

Emre Can has signed a new contract with Dortmund until 2026.
