Barnsley was in the promotion play-offs last season and rock-bottom this season. Will most probably get relegated, 10 points from safety.
Reminds me of Preston though there are examples of teams that almost made it and then ended up in league 2, I think one of the conference lot went to the playoffs one season.

Grew up with Forest being one of the big clubs. Would love to see them back. Like Leeds, they should be in the top tier.
Steve Cooper has done very well at Forest and have been good for some months now. Bournemouth should have enough to go up now but have been off for months (cheer up Everton who need 3 teams worse than them next season and I wouldn’t say Fulham are).
Fulham are back to the PL and going back to Championship next season.
