Cody GAKPO: 2025/26

Yep!
He put in some good performances when he had Diaz to compete with for a starting place. Now he never seems to get to grips with what his attacking role is.

:+1: He worked hard like everyone did, covered well, tried to get forward and after that team performance, no need to have a go at anyone.

Ok however there’s nothing wrong with pointing out the weaknesses or weak link where it stands out.

I don’t think he was a weakness, as the majority of the 1st half he was mostly on defensive duties and was diligent in what he was doing.

2nd half he was able to get forward more but he isn’t our most technical player.

Having said said that, I do realise that having a 6’4ā€ lad on the pitch against Arsenal is a benefit, and he did OK defensively.

That’s what I said!

Oh no you didn’t xxx

Not in this thread. However I only mentioned his attacking weakness. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

Ehh?

Regarding the job he did yesterday which was work up and down doing did a predominantly defensive job and at times was deeper than Kerkez!
