Don’t forget they will know the negotiation situation before us.
Probably because the extentions tend to be in the second half of the season. He plays every game and then he’s pooped for the last couple of months.
I do wonder whether any new contracts have had to take into account match minutes.

He doesn’t really have shit seasons, his ‘best’ season’s just seem to coincide with contract renewal seasons.
Just imagine how much more he and we could have won if all his seasons with us had been as good as his best ones.
