Don’t think you’d find many cockneys over this side of London.

He does sound like a little b*tch when he talks.

Apparently… Poch is not happy with Gerard because of this guy.
It has been suggested that Gerard contacted Gallagher directly with a view to him signing for him -
A case of watch this space I suppose, to see if it escalates

I’m taking Gallagher’s side as I think Ponch is a knob.

When did that happen? it was being heavily reported in the summer that Gallagher was going to be sold in which case it shouldn’t be that surprising if Gallagher is (or was evaluating his options) -

Exclusive Chelsea News: Mauricio Pochettino furious after Steven Gerrard makes Conor Gallagher Saudi approach

Story by Tom Weber •2d

Steven Gerrard recently contacted Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher regarding a potential January move, FootballTransfers has been told.

Sources have informed us that the Al-Ettifaq manager was keen to bring another British player to Dammam, Saudi Arabia in the form of Gallagher. Ettifaq signed England midfielder Jordan Henderson, Scotsman Jack Hendry and Birmingham-born Jamaica international Demarai Gray in the summer, while the side remain in talks with ex-Man Utd player Jesse Lingard.

Gerrard, we hear, personally contacted the Blues midfielder to ask whether he would be open to a winter transfer, but the 23-year-old flatly rejected the approach. Gallagher wants to remain at boyhood club Chelsea, whom he has at times captained this season, and sign a new contract to continue playing in the Premier League.

Gallagher is not interested in the Saudi money, but the story doesn’t end there. Given that the current campaign is in full swing and January is still some way away, Chelsea and head coach Mauricio Pochettino in particular are not happy with the Liverpool legend and his attempts at turning the player’s head.

Moreover, a source has told us that Gerrard is a repeat offender. During his 11-month stint as Aston Villa boss, the 43-year-old apparently attempted to lure Gallagher to his then-club, too. The former Rangers manager may have irreparably damaged his chances of signing Chelsea players in the future after this latest incident.

Mountain out of a molehill. I’m sure Stevie G is quaking in his leather sandalls.

“Footballtransfers”

That sounds a bit weird to me.

Lol, Chelsea will whore themselves anywhere in order to bolster their spending.

Sounds like a load of rubbish to me. ‘A source has informed us Gerrard is a repeat offender ‘. Utter bollocks!

I suspect whatever Pochettino thinks of Gerrard, it won’t matter for long, probably not even in January. I am genuinely surprised, I though Pochettino would be a good fit, but that side is so much less than the sum of its parts right now that the club has to be starting to think of alternatives.

Brentford isn’t an easy team to beat. Chelsea just found that out.

Chelsea used to be that, and they just lost a derby at home. Brentford is a tough side, you are right, but in terms of where Chelsea has seen itself for a generation they simply need to win those matches at home. Instead, I struggle to recall their second shot on target, I can only recall one.

I genuinely think many people underrate Brentford.
