I think he’s knowingly walked into too many fires. You can probably get away with taking the PSG job, thinking it’s a win-win; either you’re an immediate success with world class players, or you get massive compo for 12 months work max without much of an hit to your reputation because everyone knows PSG is a mess.
But to then walk straight into the Chelsea job, I start to question how serious he takes himself as a top manager. No doubt he has the talent but I’m not convinced he has the motivation.
On that note, it’ll be interesting to see Potter’s next move, and I see De Zerbi is 7-1 to succeed Poche.
