Do think that the London based clubs pay more than us.
The cost of housing etc might have something to do with it.
Or just wastefulness. No one on a footballers salary is in the doldrums if they’re in London on a measly £5kpw, let alone tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds.
City, Newcastle, and United all pay well above most London clubs.
It’s only Arsenal and Chelsea, maybe Spurs, that have relatively high wage bills.

Remember this is per week, not even month which would be above and beyond what most people could dream of in itself.
Could add London living wage but looking at property in places like Bristol and Manchester it’s starting to catch up.
Anyhow I’ve given up guessing what this lot are up too.

They should put a big picture of all their players at the entrance to the field and have a similar quote like we have- “It’s there to remind our lads who they’re playing for and who their teammates are!”
