Daft Prick Boehly‘s Blue Billion Pound Plastic Bottlejobs

It’s probably how his career will play out.

He’ll probably get sold to arsenal.

I didn’t realize that Chelsea had one of their players terminate their contract last year (Lassana Diarra), so I am wondering if this has to do with the extremely long contracts (Apparently you have pay the value of the contract in order to terminate). 10y contract, 100k = 52m.

Not quite. Years after he left Chelsea he was playing in Russia at the end of his career and got in a contract dispute with this. It got ugly, it went to court and he lost, preventing him from signing for a new team. Last year, about 10 years after the fact, he took someone (fifa?) to court over the illegality of the rule that screwed him and won

Sneaky f’ing journalists made it sound like it was Chelsea related.

Apparently after Garnacho… I would have said if he went to a decent club he might actually develop into a decent player but hes just jumping head cases.

And another one who plays his players into the ground.

Thread here describing the Palace situation but posting it here because of the interesting tidbit dropped half way through about Strasburg

https://x.com/DaleJohnsonESPN/status/1955209522353422671

Strasburg are part of the Chelsea group and were in the chase for one of Ligue Un’s CL spots until the last game. They lost their last 2 games to finish 7th, only 4 points back from 3rd place Monaco. That means had they won their last 2 games they would have finished 3rd their claim to a CL spot would have been stronger than Chelsea’s 4th placed claim and would have seen Chelsea demoted to the Europa league.

Seems fishy they’d lose those last 2 games

Dont think much of them normally, but fair play to them for saying they will pay a percentage of player bonuses for winning the world mickey mouse club competition to jotas family

I was also pleasantly surprised by this. Fair play to them.

The churn at Chelsea is obscene. Just the idea of a “bomb squad” is perverse.

I don’t think eithier of these were on the list as well

They’ve got so many players on the books I heard they had to hire a portakabin to use at the training ground for the unregistered players to get changed in - it’s called the Hurt Locker Room :bomb:

Every signing mentions the project which seems code for something nowadays.

If they got more than £40m for Jackson, I will have to begrudgingly bow down to their skills in the transfer market. They must have a whole bunch of ancestors that were naturally skilled in buying and selling people

Chukwuemeka lost 3 years of his career with that move. Not only that, but had he still be available to Villa he might have been the difference in 2 of those seasons in getting over the line in their push for the CL spots.

Lessons learned by all involved will be 0

I’d be wary of what they are reporting.
