Can they sell the women’s team again?
Nobody should help them with this.
Next the academy!
I believe Bohley’s grandmother is highly rated and valued.
She’s probably on a 10 year contract too
Lavia bid for 50p
Arsenal is sizing up a deal to help Chelsea with Madueke.
Despite all the horse trading and financial nonsense the team is progressing.
Well they’ve spent shit loads and got to the level of a load of teams who regressed.
They may reach the final or even win this CWC but it’s a glorified pre season tournament. As for the Europa Conference League…..I think it was impossible for them not to win that.
We had a month off and still finished 15pts clear of them.
Well, acording to reports, they’ll get up to £70m for winning this FIFA corrupt tournament.
Maybe they can buy another goalkeeper.
There were some Donnarumours doing the rounds yesterday that they were interested in signing the PSG keeper, though it could just be mind games trying to unsettle the opposition before a ‘big game’
They are apparently in for Xavi Simons as well - can’t wait to see their new 4-4-3-3-3-3 formation this season
I suspect Simmons signs a 12 year contract, so he will have plenty of time to work out where he plays.
They will outspend everyone again somehow… Cause disruption to the team, still play the same 11 and get knackered by November.
That’s one thing I noted they didn’t rotate massively over in the CWC.
Oh and Palmer will go shit for 2 months as he does.
World cup winners though…
And all the talk will be about our spending and being ‘under pressure’ if we have less points than last season after 10 games.
This feels unseemly to me. Not Chelsea’s ongoing splurge, but just how overtly commoditized Simmons has been.
He has a Sterling like fall out with Barca as a teenager that saw him move to PSG’s academy. PSG didnt know what to do with him and that resulted in him getting stuck in a weird “is this a loan or a sale with a buy back” deal PSV, but he only played there one season before PSG activated the buy back clause…but then immediately loaned him to Red Bull. PSG thought about bringing him back for the following season but extended the loan with Red Bull for another season, only to finalize a permanent deal for him in January. Now, after only half a season of actually being a permanent player for the team he played on for 2 seasons he’s been sold again. The kid has spent 6 years or so being treated as an NFT, not as an actual human being.
No wonder he ended up at Chelsea.
