Erm we are champions so need to only really spend £10 million like last year
Really? I hadn’t noticed.
If you never saw Kelleher play and you’d judge your opinion based on comments here, you’d be shocked by the fact that he’s going to Brentford of all places for the money he’s going for…
But if Man City and Arsenal are both shit throughout the season, do we deserve to be crowned champions?
Hence why we need to spend £300 million
Probably the closest they will get to seeing him.

So not just a bottlejob , a drug taking bottlejob.
Wonder if this lets Chelsea weasel out of his contract… maybe even reclaim wages already paid.
Did they have something similar before, Mutu maybe?
Is there such a thing as performance-diminishing drugs?
It makes you wonder, doesn’t it.
I’ve heard enough duff jazz albums to know that heroin doesn’t do anyone any favours.
Honestly, im very much on the fence with whether he knowling took the substance.
The positive test was for the prohibited substance meldonium which was administered abroad when Mudryk was not on Chelsea duty. Mudryk had played for Ukraine in Albania and Georgia in November 2024.
There is a chance that Mudryk was given something by clinicians/staff of the international team.
Ultimately, the responsibility lies with him on this however, and the charges will follow with a ban, rightly so. If its as a result of something administered to him without his knowledge, its a huge shame for him.
I think it’s Chelsea - perhaps engineering the situation, or at the least benefitting from it - and they will cut the player loose, litigate for damages, end his wages, and maybe try to claw some back.
He was an £89M disaster, and Chelsea only have so many assets they can buy from themselves to fund new signings.
So they are pulling the old Mutu trick and hanging him out to dry.
I wouldn’t put it past Chelsea to accidentally soak his kit with illicit substances just to void that 20 year contract they signed him to.
Anybody know where Darwin stores his kit?
Asking for a friend.
Yeah this happened with Mutu - albeit with coke - (they even sued him successfully for his transfer fee) and I think another player or two too. I think Chelsea play dirty and I hope that message gets circulated so players considering swerving them
Mutu’s case was different. He was done in for Cocaine.
Even if Chelsea screwed over Mudryk , they still have his transfer fee to contend with. I doubt they will be in a position to enforce any thing like what they’ve done for Mutu.
