I just don’t understand the sheer volume of signings they make. It’s weird. I don’t know why they aren’t in huge trouble with PSR. They are a joke.
This feels well dodge…. Who is going the other way.
I actually think he might be a decent player at a mid table PL it’s not going happen at a club like Chelsea.
They are having to recall Jackson but have submitted another bid for a attacking midfield. I often think when someone decent goes to a club well you can’t have them all, Chelsea seem to not believe in that. Oddest thing is they don’t even seem to be buying improvements to the team, some of these signings are bang average.
Their net spend is -10m euros right now this summer. They have sold plenty.
They probably just not pretend they are signing for Chelsea but a holding firm for 2 years.
They have sold a lot of players this summer which appears to have gone under the window, along with several loans that are likely to generate some fees for them.
They have net spend of minus 10m, and 40m the previous season. It’s the net spend of 180m the year before that is causing issues.
Also baffling that their goalie department still looks lower PL at best.
What’s those stringy looking things on his head?
Cheese strings, popular with kids.
So Liam Delap pulls up with a hamstring earlier on in the game versus Fulham. Meanwhile Nicholas Jackson is shaking hands on the tarmac at Munich while getting ready to go sign the final papers. Then the call comes from Chelsea saying that no, he can’t go to Bayern, we want our player back. Now Jackson has been frozen out from the Chelsea first team since the club World Cup sending off. Why are they bringing back a player who clearly knew that he wasn’t wanted at Chelsea, just because they have an injury to the main striker? They just signed Garnacho, Isn’t he supposed to be a striker? They also sold Nkunku. Their transfer dealings make absolutely no sense.
What should happen, in a football ecosystem with any sense, is that players just avoid them like the fucking plague.
There isn’t another club in Europe that treats players like cattle with as much complete distain as Chelsea
Can you blame the players they are targeting? Players that are not quite top tier or failed youngish high profile players looking to course correct…
They likely get to sit on a fatter wage, than the club they were sold by, and in a year or two a suiter will come along that can keep them at their (now) expected status. If not, they sit on pretty good wage for the duration of the eternal contract…
From the player side it is a win win.

That sounds made up and the fact they have a AI picture suggests mg conclusion is right.
STFU, @Jackbenimble says they having an exceptional window.
You’d think Donnarumma would be a perfect option for them but they seem to not bother with anyone more than their very average goalie issues.
It’s like a baseball team not bothering with relief pitching because it’s not “sexy”
where are Chelsea generating so much money to be able to play these fat wages to so many players?
I think it’s why we might see an issue at some point
I am pretty sure they are covering some wages in these outs.
The wages are comparatively modest for most the players. Supposedly the long contracts are designed to scale up the money over time which theoretically means you have to do well to get to those higher levels of wages because if you dont they will have moved you on already. Of course, there is the Bogarde counterpoint to that. SO far they seem to have shifted their want away players pretty well, but it seems a higher risk strategy than they imagine
Chelsea are doing nothing but a talent hoarding business. Buy huge number of players and sell a huge bunch to balance the books every window. At some point, They will have to do some shitty stuff like selling hotels to themselves etc to keep thier books clean. There are only so many of those borderline illegal stuff that people can do before they get caught
sold their womens team to themselves (a shell compay)
