Daft Prick Boehly‘s Blue Billion Pound Plastic Bottlejobs

Their last few have been decent looking to be honest

Deal done - contract to 2032 - sacked and paid off by 2028?

Not sure how good he will be but I think Liam Rosenior has always shown promise since his playing days, and I thought his dad was both a very good player and effective manager in the lower leagues.

2028? Two full years would be a good run at Stamford Bridge

From the bit I just read he seems like a good sort. I want him to do well and lead the charge for BAME managers. The internal conflict is I can’t stand Chelsea.

He can do well, like Europa league thingy well, but not more.

He’s showing some promise, but since it’s Chelsea (the club and fanbase), you never know how far they will go with someone.

I did say “by 2028” - fully expect it to come sooner

A chance for Raheem Sterling to potentially get back playing…

He was actually a decent pundit when he used to do the football league coverage.

The fans want him to fail mind and it’s a clusterfuck as a club so…

Its co-founder, Behdad Eghbali, spends more time on club matters than most private equity firm partners do on any single investment; Chelsea has become his passion project.

Maresca felt he could no longer freely pick his team, but Standard Sport understands Chelsea believe Rosenior will be better at rotating players and accepting medical staff’s word as final.

Maresca became emboldened, felt he deserved more power after delivering trophies, but that is not how things work at Stamford Bridge, where boardroom trumps dugout every time.

Head coaches are dispensable. Rosenior has been warned.

I wonder how this’ll pan out.

Hopefully with Behdad Eghbali meddling more and more as ‘owner manager’ and Toddy the face of the catastrophy

Too many managers have in the past ignored medical advice and put players at risk so I see Chelsea’s issue on that however the rest is a recipe for danger.

He has rarely rotated from the team that played all summer so I was wondering how they would be when they hit the later months.

Not that Sanchez’s mistakes last night’s have to do with Chelsea now trying even more to play out from the back (and him struggling in it), but…

Rosenior in his first press-conference on January 9th:

Question was about his goalkeepers playing out from the back, sometimes being as high among his CB’s. He said that he knew this question was coming. That you work with the ability of your players, work to what their strengths are. That he’s fortunate to have Jorgensen and Sanchez who are “world class” goalkeepers with their feet, which absolutely suits the way he wants to play. But he’s not gonna come in on the first day and say to Sanchez or Jorgensen to play from the halfway line. It takes time, it’s a process.

Rosenior last night post-match, January 14th:

“I’m asking Sanchez to do things he hasn’t done before. I said to him before the game and I made it clear, when my players make mistakes, I’m accountable. That’s on me. He made a save in the second half that was absolutely world class. That could’ve put us out of the tie. He will improve in terms of his understanding. He’s had a very good season. There were very good moments with him. Without going into too much detail, I don’t want teams to know, there are certain triggers, patterns. That’s Rob’s first game with me, I’ve had two days’ work with him. I have to put my inprint on the team, that’s why I’m here. I don’t want to do that to the detriment of the results. I need to make sure we win now, but we keep improving for where we want to get to this season. So it’s a very fine margin.”

Some very contradictory things in the space of few days.

More than anything, signs of inexperience.

When talking a bit too much becomes bad for everyone.
