Tomayto, tomahto.
Comment on expert in Trump Georgia lawsuit, “Dr. Makridis includes a discussion of provisional ballots in Mercer County. It is difficult to know what Dr. Makridis might be referring to, since there is no county called Mercer in Georgia.”
Not that it is very relevant and really news, but Andrew Gilliani, Rudi the Malicious Clown’s son, has tested positive for Corona and has mild symptoms. As the reader would expect, he has mingled as if Corona was not a thing and without taking even the slightest of precautions. He obviously, like in all decent mobster families, also work for the Don and is a PR guy in their campaign.

Now they’re erasing real counties from the official register now? Fuck, this fraud runs so deep. Is the count in for Narnia yet? Historically very Republican. Don’t tell me you haven’t got the count from the State of Narnia. All legal votes from all 53 States need to be counted.
At this point it’s probably not taking anything seriously.
Sidney Powell was being hyped all over twitter, took me two minutes to find out she has been criticised and may even lose her standing.
These people aren’t credible
I think Narnia had a lot of postal votes due to this never ending winter. Have to take that into account.
biden and copmala are asking for donations to fund the transition, utterly shameless ghouls
hilarious seeing nate silver repeatedly linked here as if that fucking nerd didn’t shit the bed once again
You seem pretty angry Diouf! Chill out.
The fault is with Trump. If he accepted the result, transition would be underway and funding released.
Nate Silver got it right enough, within a usual margin or error, though everyone underestimated support for Trump, which points to a wider issue.
So let me get this straight. You’re castigating the President Elect from struggling to get into the transition process because the incumbent fuckwit wont let go like a 3 year old despite getting an ass whupping in the election.
Something tells me you’ve got your angles all wrong.
Here’s that Michigan, no…Minnesota, wait! Michigan…Minnesota?..no, definitely Michigan!!! affidavit…
lol
Looks the goods.
The Federal Government costs money to run. Campaigns are required to fund their own transition planning efforts from campaign funds, but once the election is over the government is supposed to start picking up the tab. Presently they are not, and not because of Trump, but because a scared Jobsworth at the GSA who is not doing her job and authorizing the government support of the “apparent” winner. Note, it does not require the decision be decided for this process to begin.
As an aside, there is a hysterical section in Michael Lewis’ book about Trump blowing his stack at Chris Christie for what Trump viewed as stealing money from him in trying to put together their transition plan. Christie tried to explain to him that it was a legal requirement of a campaign and Trump’s response was allegedly to turn to Bannon and ask why Christie is stealing his money ![]()
Nate’s was pretty much spot on. He is not a pollster. He is an analyst whose work is to try to understand what the polls are telling us. That involves a good faith analysis of how flawed the polls are so those issues can be accounted for. Criticisms of the polls has again been largely misplaced, but what legitimate room for debate about ways in which they missed do not apply to 538.
Nate suffers a little bit from his supporters treating his models as cast iron predictions on what will happen, which is not only not what they are but he and the team go to lengths to explain that is not what they do. And I think that is where a lot of the criticism of him comes from, in that the models don’t do what the people who give them too much power think they do. However, if you sat and watched election night unfolding it went down the path of the most likely outcomes predicted by the models.
EDIT: He also suffers a bit from being an almost autistic nerd who doesn’t suffer fools very well. He engages critics publicly in a scornful way that makes him a target for people wanting to dunk on him. The problem is the vast majority of people who try to play that game don’t understand the argument they are in and end up missing in ways they don’t even comprehend. FWIW, I find his lack of fucks in dealing with these people incredibly funny and refreshing. But it’s also pretty easy to see why it creates a big target on his back.
A further point to this is the miss was less missing trump voters and more missing Republican voters - the party outperformed its presidential candidate, further arguing against the idea of the “Silent Trump Voter.”
trump lost, champ. time to start defending biden on his own merits
a tough task given his utterly abysmal half-century record of being a racist warmongering austerity goon who would probably drive a car directly into a mountain if mitch mcconnell used black paint to simulate a tunnel like in a roadrunner cartoon, so good luck
he’s asking for fucking donations, during a pandemic
anyone outside of your blue MAGA psychosis recognizes the shameful money grab
How do you suggest they fund the transition that the federal government is refusing to fund?
