I hope the Dems listen to the Never Trumpers and try this. It may fail, but it is worth trying to do if impeachment means anything at all; or is the US constitution and Montesque’s Principle of Power Sharing just a fucking joke ? This is fucking despotism in action !

The problem is @Magnus that failed impeachments have consequences. Arguably the last failure emboldened Trump and the traitors. Who knows what another failure might spark…

He is gone in a few days. Impeachment must be tried, or no one can ever, ever be morally impeached for anything at all. I really agree with those conservatives about that. Principles are important for democratic long term survival.

CNN reporting that Liz Cheney told other reps in whatever secure establishment they’re at that they will resume their work once safe. Must be nice to have the comforts of safety.

Its going to be hard to impeach him for this; there will need to be a clear line of command to Trump, and Im sure (mostly) that even his team were not that stupid.
What will follow will be a ramping up of division that will pale into cries that the election was rigged. Geez all elections are rigged these days.
Why didn’t he just say “Keep going, kill everyone” instead of that not-very-well-hidden double speak?
