It’s as if it automatic conspiracy assumption with them. Normal brains first consider the most logical explanations before wondering if there may be conspiracy if nothing adds up for them and no experts can give good logical answers, but these people just instantly believe whatever any of their ideological compatriots write no matter how absurd.
But the depressing thing is that there are so many of these people. I used to think they were relatively few and only very loud, but I have grudgingly revised that opinion. There is a bloody lot of them.

Reagan and Gorbachev and the world was well.

Note to people Neither he, nor I, mean military coup when he use the word coup. Just to clarify since it is needed.

Not completely true. It was the Iran hostage crisis that really sunk him. But for a fateful helicopter crash he might have won.

Yeah, it is a horrific burn. But the United States kind of deserves it after the humiliation of yesterday. But Zakharova is a cynical woman who speaks the truth only very selectively when it is politically prudent, and her poisoned barbs are almost second to none. She is very skilled at what she does. She mixes facts and half truths better than most.

To be honest, I admire her propaganda skills a lot. She is really, really good at intelligent propaganda, and her twitter account can be amusing to follow, as she is very clever. Her morals I admire not at all…

Professor Pifer seems worried:

Actions in the US, have very predictable consequences abroad:

Professor Mcfaul is very angry and on point (imo). Never seen him like this and I often read him. He is not one for hyperbole:

Are you referring to the Catholic church there?

The one who wrote the drivel that I quoted clearly did. I just used a picture to illustrate. Some Evangelicals in the US have really outlandish ideas as to what the Catholic church is up, and will run with any conspiracy theory that puts the Vatican in a nasty light. And QAanon have a lot of Evangelistical influence, or so it seems anyway.

Separation of church and state my arse.

Was that a pun?
