It’s just today’s version of it’s political correctness gone mad.
Sure there are examples but it’s all exaggerated. No different to EU bendy bananas. Recently the Daily Mail ran an article on Wokeism wanting to ban a film. Can’t remember the film but it’s a classic. Something like gone with the wind or a sound of music or something of that sort.
The basis of the article I shit you not was 2 tweets by a random person. We live in the age where the media will amplify the voice of a nutter, so that we can all collectively shake our head.

Totally agree, its also a slide into unbridled subjectivism. Where anyone can cry offense at the slightest thing and at least get an audience. I had it done to me in the last workplace, I was verbally abused by a temp secretary, and a girl asked in Accounts (its always accounts!) what had gone on. By me relaying the story - of me being abused verbally - the accounts manager was offended by it, and the practice manager had to give me a tongue in cheek ‘chat’. He didnt believe in it either.

They were incited to protest, not to enter the Senate illegally. Thats a far more complicated question that will require a good degree of assumption if it comes to be answered in the affirmative.

I think that was Guiliani called for ‘trial by combat’; this is indeed the problem, there was highly questionable rhetoric, but from different voices, not exclusively Trump. My understanding was Trump asked for them to march on capitol hill and protest.

Saying that to a crowd of gun wanking psychos before imploring them to march on the Capitol and stop them stealing the presidency, is incitement to riot. It’s, at best, negligently careless and at worst a direction to launch a coup.

Not necessarily, it could be reasonably read in the context of his earlier recourse to ‘fight’ which was in relation to the claims of a fudged election. It doesnt matter anyway, he’ll be construed so, because it wont be reasonably read. The mob are beying.
