Unfortunately we know that such a definitive statement is wrong. I cannot understand how in this day and age someone can have failed to disabuse themselves f the notion that complying with the cops is the safe option if you are of a certain demographic or live in a certain neighborhood. Likewise to @El_Dorado comment.

I remember asking why girls could have long hair and boys couldn’t (and vice versa) in a very sweet and innocent voice, the response was something along the lines of don’t be daft / we’ve always done it like that, standards etc. That meeting ended well. I particularly remember somebody actually asking what a neanderthal was.
The first part you may not have a choice,the 2nd part you more than likely will.
If girls are allowed crue cuts then I propose all parents to declare their new born child as a girl. Later in life that girl can then decide if they wish to remain a girl or become a boy (women or man I suppose).

Sorry, but complying with police lawful instructions is always the safest option for every demographic. Not saying that certain demographics don’t face a higher possibility of police abuse. That is obviously also true.

And also their orders are very often not actually lawful.
For many people interactions with the cops, often after having done nothing wrong, are a game of Simon Says with your life being the prize. And very often the cops throw curve balls at you making it impossible to comply (put your hands up…keep you hands on the wheel - I had to shoot him as he wasn’t complying).

YouTube is full of videos were American Cops think they are Dirty Harry.
The best ones are the ones where they pull over citizens who know the law.
Too many are just aggressive poorly trained arseholes. They tend to be less like Dirty Harry and more like an 80s TV bully.

I have seen this filibuster mentioned before and meant to look it up and just did so now. So basically you can talk as along as you want and bore people long enough that they just say screw it and if just over 2/5’s let you get away with it then too bad for the rest of the chumps? Good grief.
