With some, some unknowns about the outstanding vote, dunno if it’s the two Nate’s sitting on the fence.
I think it was concluded that the difference in votes between Trump and Biden was too much for Trump to overtake. There’s still around 14% of the vote to be counted but its not affecting Biden

Big dump of votes in AZ being revealed soon. Both parties saying why it will favor them. We won’t know for sure until it is announced in a few mins…
Then Pennsylvania narrowing, will Biden catch him? And Georgia is up in the air.

It’s much tighter than I thought, but this is done.
Two ways to look at it. That number of votes splitting 59-41 is just barely enough for Trump to win if it is a sample reflective of the remaining population of votes. But the remaining votes are in areas that are ‘bluer’ than Maricopa. Notably, Pima County (Tucson) is a significant percentage of the remaining votes. He probably needs to do quite a bit better than 59% in Maricopa now.

True but I would say PA is looking better right now… I think i’ll head bed, be clearer in the morning, hopefully Pima and the other county that’s bluer hold up.
Yeah, PA votes are running 75/25 for Biden in the last 600k, he only needs a 61% in the remaining votes to win it.

Wow. 5 hours sleep and wake up to find that Biden now looks like he’s closing in on Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina, three States I thought he was too far behind with too little votes left to count.

It really is astonishing and shows how partisan areas and behaviors are in the US.
Here in NZ the relative percentages came out at 1%. It basically stayed the same to 100%.
When 85% of the vote counted, I figured thats highly predictive of end result (esp with large Trump lead). However seen massive swings for the postal vote.
