I’m outside of San Francisco. I’ve had two uncomfortable incidents in the last month while running. The last one genuinely scared me because I still had some ways to run back home. So I’ve been trying to be careful. I’m probably overthinking things.
Having said that, I’ve been very fortunate in this country. Despite all this noise, there are many good people here who have helped me in the past. And I also know there are many who are far less fortunate than me. I hope our principles hold.

For all his bellaching about individual polls, one number is incredibly consistent. All the average polling on Joe Biden nationally from August until now had him somewhere between 50% and 52%. As we sit here, he’s at 50.5%.
