I wonder about this too. There seems to be a total and complete capitulation in the United States to the breaking events, that are all happening in astounding speed. None of them are particularly surprising, but the speed is higher than even pessimists like myself (who have been depressed since he won the elections, since this was what I had forecasted) had as a Worst Case Scenario, and I was told that I was overecting and misreading it. I was certainly not overeacting, if I misread it, it was only because I too was too naive and thought it would take more time to convert the US into an autocracy and that we had a bit more time to react and play catch up. But there is no time. None at all.

Maybe the question should be about your expectations?
After all, storming Congress apparently gets you a glorified parking ticket.
