Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 2)

Nothing.

It would start with denials. There would be criticism of the sources and counter accusations. Within a month there would be credulous MSM coverage of why it could be a good thing and Dems would be criticized/mocked for not being smart enough to forge these connections.

Im sure other western governments and israel have agencies that know if this is real, if so what does it mean for the usa i meant, it would be the first case I’d imagine of having a sitting president who is actually a traitor?

Although it would be another title to add for him, as hes the first convicted sitting president.

I think what he is doing and saying publicly is enough for active measures to be taken by other governments regarding Russia and their interests. The distinction between him doing it because he’s agent or just because he thinks what he’s doing is a good idea seems pretty irrelevant.

Every day I think this thread couldn’t get any weirder, and every day I’m proved wrong.

Coincidentally, that’s exactly what John Berryman said when he arrived in Massachusetts. He was dead a few short years later.

I think you’ll be fine, though.

If the shoe was (even somewhat) on the other foot, the republicans would be calling the president a traitor who must immediately resign or civil war will ensue. That’s what anyone who doesn’t want this Republican Russian Traitor Regime needs to understand. Call for Trump to immediately resign as he is a Russian Traitor and call for all members and supporters of the Republican party to be suspected as being involved with a treasonous plot. Hound every single one of these people at church, businesses, the brothels and dens of vice they fester in. Ultimately either Americans fight for this with everything they have or they will end up like Iran or North Korea.

I’m in Niagara Falls the next month, visiting the in-laws. I looked up the local DSA - they’re not good people, but you’ll usually find somebody salting and, if you have the right demeanor, you’ll meet the right people.

Turns out, I’m at a meeting for the Downs Syndrome Association.

WTF? That would not be good for you, or anywhere else across the civilised world or Australia.

Because we’ve learnt all the previous lessons from history so well?

There is that, but this one would be so massive that it would (hopefully) resonate with many generations to come.

There would be collateral.

No it won’t. People are fuckwits. Doomed to repeat the mistake of the past because they don’t learn from them.

Which is why we need more historians and history needs to be given more prominence at school and beyond

Not when history continues to be rewritten by the victors
