Yes. It is literally sanctions from one man. Haltbrekke. Norway has a free market, so unless the Norwegian government clamps down asap, private companies can choose which foreign customers they sell to.

If the US isn’t going to honour NATO, what exactly are the US submarines in that body of water doing?

True, but it’s not like US has left NATO. Also, Trump bashing Ukraine President doesn’t mean collaboration at tactical level has stopped.

It was by design, of course, so did a lot of good for the Trump administration.

They tried that a little over a century ago. Didn’t work particularly well. Sonora in particular is not that much different from Afghanistan

But they are preparing to do it, laying political groundwork and moving assets to the border.
I am convinced that they will launch a small scale Special Military Operation and that it will grow in scale as they botch ops against the cartels. I envision some civilian Mexican collateral and much human and political drama…
