Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 2)

So let me guess if i have got this right, european leaders meet in London, say they will work out a plan for Ukraine, knowing that trump is a cunt, and wont do anything to help.

They will come up with a plan, present it to trump, possibly putting european troops in Ukraine…and trump without doing fuck all expects to get £500 billion in access to Ukraines mineral deposits ?

Fucking world is madder today than yesterday, and tomorrow brings new madness.

X should just change its name to :poop:
As in the emoji (much like Prince did for a while with his symbol). Because it’s got turds falling out of every orifice. Some of these morons are so thick, bacteria and viriii probably avoid them for fear of becoming dumb.

That last one asking the question of what do you notice?

Probably wrong answer, but is it all the women look as though they came from the stepford wives film?

Some of the shit coming out of the US,almost all republican, is enough to make a cowboy do unspeakable things to his horse.
MTG bringing movies into politics, only problem is the actors have more sense than the politicians.
Seems Zelenskyy was improperly dressed to talk about ceasefires,a collar and
tie is a requirement.FFS!
Now Trump conceding the obvious, the ambush on Zelenskyy was a set up,the rest of the world, outside the GOP and its acolytes, knew that.
Then Rutte saying Zelenskyy should make up with Trump…seriously where do these idiots come from?
We have just witnessed an ambush, yelling over,a bloke who ,to him, is a second language, accusing him of being a dictator, tells him to make peace with a serious dictator from a would be dictator, who the hell would do that? the most likely response from many would be a belt in the face.
Zelenskyy was quite restrained!

Try writing Kreml.ru into a browser

Anyway, it saves me having to write “the”, since it is accurate wrinting only Kreml.

I also often write Mosvka. For the same reason. It is accurate, so I don’t bother to translate it to English. It’s a bit of thing I sometimes do, I suppose.

Good job Iv got a shit load of ADA and XRP.

On a less self centred basis and more serious note. I am hoping the EU and UK have a strong back bone and stay united with the Ukraine, in return land and peace to their country.

So when the inevitable upcoming nuclear apocalypse wipes out human civilization and (if) we re-emerge from the ashes, can we please not re-invent social media? Can someone chisel that to the side of a mountain? Thanks.

I’ve followed several political debates and declarations in some key European countries these last days. It’s interesting, the word ‘fascism’ gets now used more and more freely when referring to the current Trump administration.

In a matter of a month, these morons have not only convinced a good part of the world that they actually are fascists, but also that they must be designated with that word. This especially happens in the countries which were formerly their allies.

Seriously, I pity all people in the US who voted against this scum. For the others, thus the 65% of that country, I have zero compassion. They wanted all of this. Fuck them.

Nowhere close to 65%. Unfortunately we have a huge population of idiots, and tuned out people that don’t do their civic duty. Yeah, that’s tantamount to voting FOR the orange turd, but democratic policies are favored by a large majority of Americans, but too many Americans are fuckwits.

I remember a poll done about a month before the election where prospective voters were asked about different policies, but the pollsters did not put a party name to the policies, and Americans overwhelmingly were supportive of Dem policies. I’ll see if I can fish that up.

It’s funny, Canada has had the capacity to build nuclear weaponry since about 1948. In all that time, no government has ever seen the merit of exploring the idea of building warheads. That is shifting in some surprising circles.

American media of various stripes running stories about Zelensky perhaps needing to resign because of how badly the Washington meeting went. Even outlets like CNN don’t seem to understand the global reaction - that London summit was convened on a few days notice, and involved every NATO member other than the US (in-person or otherwise).

I don’t think Zelensky is the head of state who needs to resign

You are over estimating EU’s present capabilities.

Sorry don’t have sympathies with the retards who didn’t bother to turn up to vote.

No, not really. I am quite aware of them. But the US has diplomatically isolated itself to an astonishing degree, and they have not even started their great trade war with everyone (likely because their government is in such great disorder). US consumer confidence dropped in a month in the largest shift not related to a major shock like the 2007 financial meltdown or the pandemic. Jobless claims are soaring, GDP forecast models are showing a dramatic output slowdown, and 23 year old incompetents with no security clearance are metaphorically ripping out the wires they think are the wrong colour.

These stupid bastards are on the cusp of producing their own 1929.
