If Trump says it, it must be true, and a flock of pink pigs soar gracefully above.
Or maybe they should be orange pigs!
Musk at the Pentagon. Full article here , the veracity of which has also been confirmed by WSJ ,
" Separately, Mr. Musk has been the focus of an investigation by the Pentagonâs inspector general over questions about his compliance with his top-secret security clearance.
The investigations started last year after some SpaceX employees complained to government agencies that Mr. Musk and others at SpaceX were not properly reporting contacts or conversations with foreign leaders.
Air Force officials, before the end of the Biden administration, started their own review, after Senate Democrats asked questions about Mr. Musk and asserted that he was not complying with security clearance requirements.
The Air Force, in fact, had denied a request by Mr. Musk for an even higher level of security clearance, known as Special Access Program, which is reserved for extremely sensitive classified programs, citing potential security risks associated with the billionaire."

Several Americans have previously been charged with treason for aiding Russia, notwithstanding not being at war. It is totallly plausible that a host of republicans end up on the chopping block for much more egregious actions.
Mother nature is coming for (some of) the deplorables:
The risk of a CWD spillover event is growing, the panel of experts say, and the risk is higher in states where big game hunting for the table remains a tradition. In a survey of US residents by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 20% said they had hunted deer or elk, and more than 60% said they had eaten venison or elk meat.
Tens of thousands of people are probably eating contaminated game meat either because they do not think they are at risk or they are unaware of the threat. âHunters sharing their venison with other families is a widespread practice,â
That is not in the least surprising, and was probably true in 2016 as well. The 75 year old cohort contains people who grew up and saw Nixon, Reagan, Bush etc. Plenty of Republicans to blame for various things, though of course many would also have a negative opinion of Carter, Clinton, etc.
A 20 year old really only knows Obama and Trump first hand.
Lockheed Martin has offered to open up the Canadian sourcing terms for the F-35 if Canada will agree to proceed with the remainder of the order. Right now, Canada is locked into delivery of 16 units (which will be absurdly expensive if that is all), but it now appears that the contract terms are politically unsustainable. There will likely be some brass retiring soon.
Oddly, during negotiations they fought tooth and nail over how difficult it would be to increase Canadian employment numbers.
Whatâs surprising about it is that in 2016, Democrats were almost +30 with young people, and over +20 in 2020. Young men were voting Democrat, if not to the same extent as females. Today, Trumpâs highest approval ratings are amongst 18-29 year-olds. To see that shift so dramatically is pretty stunning.
Supply and demand. This is what Ezra Klein is talking about in his new book Abundance.

This is a staggering visualization
Trump is issuing more EOs and faster than FDR, who came to office in the greatest economic crisis America has ever seen, including an estimated unemployment rate of 23%, a collapsed financial sector in much of the coountry, and four years of GDP decline.
To think that one of the Republicans big attack lines on Obama was that he âgoverned through executive ordersâ.
If I recall correctly, itâs not unique to the USA.
Certainly in Germany, the same trends apply to the AfD, and itâs generally attributed (donât have a source though so pinch of salt) to social media, especially TikTok, but also things like Joe Rogan.
Department is spelled incorrectly.
Right-wingers and hypocrisy, what a big surprise.
20 year old voters have never known a politics free of Trumpâs aberrations, which make it much harder for them to identify how much of an aberration it is. But this also is not a US specific issue as this generation is living in the 4Chanification of the real world.
These things come and go in waves. Wonât be edgy and cool for long when itâs the establishment in power actually doing it.
Isnât this a problem throughout the western world. More and more young men have been following people, like tate, mcgregor etc who promote toxicity through action/ words and Trump aligns himself with these people.
