Man goes through the legal asylum process from his home country. Gets approval and travels to the US to enter through port of entry. Is detained because of additional concerns of a border agent and is kept in custody for several weeks (harsh, dumb, but legal). Now this new administration has come in and just shipped him off to El Salvador with no investigation into the concerns of the border agent or demonstration the concerns were valid.
People should be absolutely outraged this is happening. Even if you agree in concept with the harsh crack down and removing the status of people here legally, the people they are doing this to are not who the administration is claiming they are.
The irony of this is with the political realignment we have recently gone through this almost certainly hits his voters worst. That doesnt mean this is evidence of genuine concern over election security to the point he is willing to hurt himself to do the right thing. It is just an illustration of how driven he is by the need to address perceived wrong doings against him (they cheated with fake voters to win in 2020)

And why was his brain bleeding? ICE has always been a rogue agency from the start, filled with people with a blood lust for smashing the heads of brown people and people with funny accents and a leadership that has promoted it as a perk of the job.
The calls of the past 10 years or so to abolish ICE have not about eliminating border enforcement because ICE is not a border agency. It is about eliminating an absolutely rotten agency and reassigning the interior enforcement responsibilities to other entities within DHS
This is just absurd. We continue talking about the path we are on and people wondering where we will end up in terms of authoritarian sliding, but this is where we are now. This is a level of authoritarianism that is only reached once you think you dont need to even pretend anymore there are legal justifications for the things you are doing
