60 Minutes is an institution in US journalism. It is broadcast by CBS, an org currently being farcically sued by Trump for their coverage of Harris during the campaign. CBS itself is owned by a struggling parent company whose principle owner has spent years trying to get out from the obligation she inherited from her father and is desperate for Trump’s FCC to not put a halt to her sale of the company
This is not just an assault on freedom of the press from the government, but the owners of the press rolling over and protecting their larger commercial interests, and in this case their personal financial interests.

Calculus, Djibouti, the moon hyperion - these are things I’d never heard of as a kid.
