Germany actually has uranium enrichment without civil nuclear power. Technically, they do have nuclear weapons, but the bombs are supplied and controlled by the US.

This is bad from Biden. He’s learned nothing and shows in these comments why he was so wrong to even consider trying to run again and he shows he just does not even remotely understand the times we are in. The whole “this isnt who we are” was maybe understandable in Trump’s first go around. But we are here because this IS who we are. Or enough of us at least.
One of the lessons Obama took from his time was that he was wrong in his idea that “the fever will break” and Republicans would return to normal with one more election loss showing how unpopular their craziness is. That moderated how he engaged with them because he felt he couldnt afford to burn bridges with a party that would eventually return to sanity. He left office believing had he accepted earlier this is just who they are now he would have got a lot more done. Biden is still living in the 2010 era Obama admin. Someone who is still acting like there is a normal party just waiting to win back some traction from the crazies has absolutely nothing to offer.

Yes, this is a problem worldwide, not just in the US. There’s still, probably, a majority of politicians who are in denial about who they are dealing with. It’s still seen as radical to describe the Trump regime as fascist when it fits every definition of the word.
Nobody wants it to be true, so they just pretend it isn’t.

The latest story the trans panic has been focusing on is of a female fencer who was DQed from an “Olympic qualifier” for refusing to start her match against a trans woman because of its unfairness and risk to her safety. Fox were all over this for weeks. It turns out, the truth is actually very different
This is technically an Olympic qualifying event, but in the same way the qualifying rounds of the FA cup are contested between teams with hopes of getting to Wembley. Fencing is a sport where physical mismatches are routine because it simply isnt that important. Children routinely train against adults, and women routinely compete against actual men. Just as the woman who made her stand here did a matter of weeks ago.
This was essentially a recreational tournament being contested by recreational fencers in a sport where men and women compete against each other all the time at level and has been made into a political statement
