You’ve already answered that in that the media don’t cover that extensively. Yes it’s a Senate hearing but who the fuck actually watches those or cares. Rhetorical and even though people should care, most would rather watch a 30 second entertaining clip somewhere than a dry old hearing, however pertinent it might be.
Get a reporter with balls to do it and sparks will fly. That’s what sells, like it or not. You can Senate hearing from now till the 2nd coming and yet the cunt on the other side of it will be able to go some or other MAGA podcast, continue lying and the needle won’t move a jot.

The guy who did the interview with him for NBC last weekend had the perfect opportunity to make a name for himself (like Jonathan Swan did in his first term) but instead meekly deferred.
I just don’t get it with journalists in the US. Trump was once again showing his total stupidity by insisting that Garcia (the guy who was deported) had MS13 tattoos across his knuckles , when the entire world now knows that it was photoshopped. His gentle protestations were simply brushed aside and he quickly moved on , muttering ‘we’ll have to disagree’. How hard can it be just to fucking say ; ‘You’re wrong!’ to his stupid fat orange face ?

This response about the dismantling of the Consumer Product Protection Agency is absurd. He has the right to do it is not an answer to a question asking about whether it is a good idea.
These people are so eager to dunk on everyone that they cannot engage in the conversation people are trying to have with them.

I’m beginning to wonder if that was simply a pragmatic move to keep certain industries ticking over until Trump’s next brain fart. From what I can see, it only affects tariffs, and they are likely to be different again in a month or so.

Stripping them of pensions is the big story here. That they would be forced to resign was given, but stripping them of pensions is above and beyond and highly alarming for anyone caring the slightest about ethics or justice.

You would be very surprised to know that Russia might not accept Trump’s 30 day cease fire idea agreed with European states and Ukraine
Meanwhile, smooth talking Peskov states that Russia would accept it, but only with the impossible condition of stopping all aid to Ukraien for those 30 days while Russia gets flown in millions of tons of military aid for it’s own allies
