FFS, did he watch CNN by accident?
It’s really like a child has accidentally found himself in the White House and is bewildered by what’s going on.
Meh, it’s just a word salad and he makes sure to blame Ukraine (or Zelensky as he says, because he thinks of states that way) equally for the war.
21 trillion let into the USA over 4 years is quite a feat imo.
He confused Nippon Steel for Nissan, a car company. It’s just a meaningless slip of the tongue though. I’m sure no one will worry about it having any implications for how in control of his mental faculties he is.
Kremlin responds to Trump’s remarks calling Vladimir Putin “crazy,” saying such comments likely reflect “some emotional overload at this crucial moment.”
I chuckled because it might contain a sliver of truth.

Why am I not surprised.
I was going to ask if it was even legal, but why bother? It probably isn’t.
I bet he’s changed his mind at least thrice by now.
Are there absolutely no laws against corruption in the US?
There is even a line item amendment to the Constitution that bans this. The US is no longer governed by the rule of law, it is really just that simple.
Trump is awful on any number of levels, but I just want to say that any gap that might open up between Trump and Putin, over Ukraine, is a good thing.
There has been a sense that Trump has washed his hands of the whole thing and has since moved on to carving up the nation, in concert with Putin, and stripping Ukraine of its natural resources. It’s appalling that he wants payback, and is acting like a mob boss to shake Zelensky down.
To the degree that Trump might be at odds with Putin, and will legitimately oppose him over Ukraine, well… bring it on.
Putin probably wants the whole thing, even if at first we just thought it would be certain regions. If Trump is calling out the violence against citizens and standing against Putin, hopefully that little gap might become a seed for Trump belatedly getting on the right side of this.
I’m not especially hopeful, but Trump is starting to talk in a way about Putin and Russia that I’ve not really seen before.
