Wtf is she even trying to saying here?
So the gist of it is:
Harvard is supposed to be the best of the best, not everyone can get in so most people can’t relate to the Harvard life. Therefore, people say, “Go Donald Trump”.
Do they think their viewers forget the first half of what they say by the time they get to the end of it? I mean, they’re right… but still.
Cheers for posting this article. The world, and, as it seems, especially the US, needs this kind of attempts of bridge building and understanding what is going on, and what the true problems are.
Btw, the Guardian is one of the good remaining newspapers imo.
Trump’s corruption knows no limits, he will pardon anyone willing to pay. He will kill investigations and drop lawsuits if companies, organizations, or the people being investigated or sued can help him in some way. That is exactly what happened with Binance. The SEC’s lawsuit against Binance has been going on for several years, yet as soon as Binance announced that they would list Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency on their exchange, the SEC filed a motion to dismiss their lawsuit. The motion gave no reason for the dismissal. So now everyone in the United States that was harmed by Binance’s illegal activities will not see justice because Donald Trump will always choose to benefit himself over the American people.
Why isn’t there a ban on vampires and werewolves?
If we’re going to ban fictional threats, what about the Yeti? Put that non-existent sucker behind bars!
Note that while this is a good meme and those numbers are indeed being pandered around (much too uncritically), there is verification of 15 destroyed bombers and not 40. 2 of the attacks failed.
But you probably know this (but not everyone does, including most of the media).
