It had actually been reported last week by WSJ , but the Guardian piece has managed to put more meat on the bone. A bit of a scoop for them really , and not the first time they’ve managed to steal a march on the US media. They’ve got some really well connected people over there.

Nah , just its Guardian US online operation.

Since the BBC was taken over by tories, The Guardian is one of the few sources of information that can be more or less trusted.

It is. It is run by a charitable trust that exists to ensure the independence of its journalism.

Yup, as far as I’m aware, it’s one among very few independent information sources remaining in England.

Reuters is fairly neutral but Al Jazeera is probably the most balanced of the lot.
