It would be nice if U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff , concentrated on getting swooned by various actors in the Middle East and let Rubio or someone else with a functioning brain (or at least cursory knowledge) deal with the Kremlin, Europe and Kyiv.

Absolutely absurd - her fundamental role is to read and debate Bills. She has a budget to hire staffers to do it for her.

I struggle to find it absurd. She has done this before too. It is not surprising and hardly even news-worthy.
