Ladies and gentlemen, we have another good “Sir-yarn”.
This is actually one of the better one in the entertainment category, which Trump’s Sir-stories belong to.
Whatever. There is no logic.
I mean, new Mali is a tribalistic military dictatorship of war criminals being aided by the worlds worst war criminals and the US un-sanctions them. Jaja
You think that’s bad, we get all his bloody emails. Trust me when I say he feels to need to contact the entire military everytime he has a thought pop into his head.

Oh, love some of the comments responding to the article, including one personwrote that if he lived in Mexico close to the border, he would buy a bunch of mylar balloons, a cylinder of helium, and wait until the proper wind direction, then have some fun.
Edit:
…and Jalopnik is having some fun with the title of the article.

Israel has launched a “pre-emptive” attack against Iran, with Trump’s backing.
It seems that this is a large scale joint US-Israel operation, and this is just the beginning.
‘…if America bombs Iran, as Netanyahu hopes it will… In this murk, conspiracy theories about Israel manipulating America into another Middle Eastern conflict are bound to flourish …’
Rather apt , from a very good piece in today’s NYT , coming hot on the heels of historically bad polls for US support for Israel , and more widely exploring how it has become the author of its own misfortune.

Trump telling Iranians to stay home because it’s very dangerous outside, bombs dropping everywhere. Does he think everyone lives in bomb-proof homes? He’s also calling on Iranians to overthrow the government when the bombing has stopped.
Cue 25 years of mayhem as factions tear each other apart, generations are radicalised and violence spreads across the region.
We’ve seen it all before.
Cue most of US mainstream debate being centered completely around ‘well, Iran is bad’ and whether or not the American taxpayer/voter will like this.
Helping the Iranian people overthrow the regime…by bombing an elementary school
The candidate of peace strikes again.
The Cuba thing is wild. Its really gone under the radar just how much they’ve escalated the antagonism towards Cuba since the capture of Maduro. There is no real debate on the merits of regime change or the even the strategy on how to achieve that. We’re just punishing the Cuban people and largely ignoring it.
But it’s worse…for reasons that have also not been justified, this week we forced Hondurus to kick out the Cuban doctors from the country, causing a huge loss in medical expertise and access in the country…and as is typical we are doing nothing in return for Hondurus complying. Presumably what we’ve given in return is the absence of direct punishment we threatened them with if they didnt comply.
Is this being driven by Rubio? This seems too low-level for Trump.
Also, how is this going to have any material impact on regime change?
This is just pure cruelty!
No one knows for sure because they are never made to speak about it, but Rubio has long been known to believe that regime change in Venezuela was a domino that could lead to regime change in Cuba. That appears to be their play book here - regime change → oil embargo → Cuba grinds to a halt → internal tensions rise → the people revolt and overthrow the government.
If that is true, that doesnt mean that is why Trump did Venezuela, but more that Trump’s interest in doing some macho strong man thing with no concern for the consequences allow people like Rubio to support him in one thing in the hope that can be used to advance the other thing they are interested in. And Trump is too disinterested to care
Keep in mind the Kushner angle in all of this.
Kusher previously committed to not returning to politics should Trump win because he is “now an investor”, but returned anyway. He has done so in areas where he is deeply conflicted given his money comes almost entirely from middle eastern governments. Government who have a vested interested in Iran not getting the one thing they would want out of any sort of nuclear negotiation - the reintroduction of Iranian oil into the global supply. This is a team that is not only incapable of leading diplomatic efforts this complicated, they are one that has no real interest in doing it in good faith.
Note, this is also happening while a national security whistle blower report is being actively buried, which has been reported is about Kushner and Iran.
Also, fuck every journalist who parrots this being a “preemptive strike.” Preemptive of what? Why are you using this terminology? The only things we’ve actually preempted is actual fucking diplomacy and an effort to make a case for war to the people and to the congress who are legally required to authorize it.
Do it like this guy
With today’s news this maybe seems like not the most important thing, but they were lying to you when they said the only reason they cared about “the trans issue” is fairness in sport and giving girls and women a safe space.
