It has been reported, but yes, I agree that the coverage in many media isn’t as widespread as it should, given the absolute carnage that bombing provoked.

Indeed. And the response is to delete the posts while not addressing the person who caused the kerfuffle in the first place. Someone who has had run ins with his particular ‘brand’ of post with numerous people. Sweeping that nut job under the carpet isn’t going to resolve anything.

I understand your points, and was very clear who was in the wrong. If the lad is genuine, he’ll take some time out to reflect. If he is what you say he is, he’ll be back and he’ll end up getting banned.
You’ve been here here long enough to know that we don’t like to moderate the off football discussions too much because when talking politics everyone needs to be a grown up, and to be frank we’re a small mod team and we can’t cover everything. It would really help if posters could use the report button and disengage, rather get involved in lengthy exchanges of hurling insults at each other.

Leaving aside whether not anyone could possibly deserve a Medal of Honor for the Maduro raid, there is a certain obscenity in how obvious the contempt that the White House for actual US military members truly is. That warrant officer receiving the CMH was visibly suffering from his wounds (multiple rounds to the leg), pale and apparently growing paler from the effort of standing. There was absolutely no need to rush the ceremony, other than the absurdly obvious propaganda need. Utter disrespect for the military member himself.

Maybe if you;re being cynical you can put that down to purely Trump driven partisanship in that non-MAGA republicans today define themselves as in opposition to Trump, but even you buy that it at least shows a complete lack of mooring of what it means to be MAGA. They stand for nothing. Every time you are arguing with them you are arguing with them over something they dont truely believe it is just what they choose to argue about today.

But it doesn’t say anything of the sort. It quotes the IDF as denying knowledge of the school attack without ANY qualifying statement that the IDF has a history of bombing schools and hospitals in Gaza. Nor does it caution that the IDF is an untrustworthy liar when it comes to denying its atrocities. Instead, it states most of the videos and images of the atrocity are fake and unsubstantiated and moves straight into a banner headline stating; ‘Iranian media are not considered trustworthy’. There then follows two extended paragraphs about press freedom and lack of trust in Iranian media. I don;t know what story you have read but the translation I supplied from his link has no mention of Grok or calling out fake claims.
But lets be clear, this guy posted that piece as a snide little dig at me after I complained that the media was burying the school bombing story. He did this because he imagines he and his pub bore mate have some beef with my over my opinions on the Ukraine War. I ignore their mindless playground insults for what they are, but when a forum attached to LFC throws shade at child slaughter I will call a poster out. His subsequent squirming and efforts to reframe the issue are simply pathetic.
I originally pointed out that if Iran had bombed an Israeli primary school and killed 180 little girls then the coverage would be on an entirely different order of scale. I stand by that. I am pleased today however that the Guardian has today belatedly produced a piece that gives unambiguous evidence an images that this massacre was not Iranian propaganda.
This can’t be just trolling anymore. If there’s some kind of cognitive issue involved I hope you get well soon.
