If you use Firefox, try the extension “XCancel”. Once installed, whenever you click on X/Twitter link, It will filter out all the crap from X/Twitter, and even let you read the thread. However, sometimes it does not work with pictures posted directly from X/Twitter.

I want to comment on just this specifically.
The problem is that you americans are so used to the rethoric, the bullshit. You must not think that the rest of the world is equally used to it, they take Trump and gang very seriously! Cannot afford not to.
So you should not just consider what Americans think of Trump admin and their nonsense and crazyness, but consider what those who are not submerged in it think.
That is my argument anyway. I mean, I don’t care what Americans think of it personally, I care about what Jihad-inclined angry Muslims may think (because there is a lot of anger now).
Fair enough, and on a personal note, maybe I’m so jaded with Trump and MAGA that my ability to be outraged by what they say has waned, given the sheer quantity. I don’t ignore it, but I definitely view it as more shit they are flooding the zone with.

I want to press like on your post, because in a way I agree emotionally. However, i do in fact strongly disagree. In a Two Party System, both parties must be sane for the state to function. A party will not win an endless number of elections and so on. The fact that GOP is bat shit insane is an absolute catastrophe for the US and why I have long argued that it hardly matter (much) if Democrats win the next election. What truly matters is if GOP becomes sane and moves closer to Dems.
Either GOP must find its way back to Conservatism, US gets another party to replace it, or there is no end to this nightmare.
Remember this: The Biden years didn’t help. At all. Everything continued to get worse in terms of polarisation and now we have Trump 2.0 and it is way worse than Trump 1.0.
