That is who was negotiating the deal. Add in Jared’s outrageous level of CoI and the long ongoing intelligence concerns about him and it’s outrageous they were appointed for that role. In ordinary times that would fall on trump for putting people in important roles that was doomed to failure because of how inappropriate they were for it. I’m over expecting trump to suffer those sorts of consequences but it’s another point showing how important it is that we don’t just get these fucks out of office but once we do we completely reimagine what checks and balances need to be put in place.

It is tragicomic. This is the biggest victory anyone has ever seen in history, but you need to ask China, allies you have tried to break with and most everyone else, with help to achieve it.
