Perfect illustration of the MAGA thought process. She doesn’t reevaluate her position after finding out the situation she is worried about exists only in her head. She decides she is still directionally right because the population is “growing every day”

“Ok, I’m hopelessly wrong, but directionally Im still correct because I feel it to be true.”

That is one of those alt-right talking points that seems to have been hammered into American skulls for a generation, alongside the belief they provide foreign aid to virtually every country in the world, including all of Europe.

Not in reality.

If he was the dictator of Botswana, it might have been possible.

Based on the recent demographic shifts people like this are worried about it would still take well into the 2100s before Muslims became a majority, and its absurd to think those demographics trends would be sustained long enough for that to happen. Its just a wild thought process

Trump wants Falkland Islands too?

Milei does. Trump likes Milei

There’s a slight chance that Milei is even more deranged than Trump.

What are the odds that the Democrats will put a strong candidate, and a regimented campaign in 2028?

It’s not so much a question of if but who can they put forward to run a strong and regimented campaign?

I just saw Kash’s petulant press conference yesterday discussing his defamation law suit against the Atlantic for this piece

The press conferences included him saying he had not read the piece, which raises interesting questions about his ability to reject the claims in it. It also saw him explicitly reject the a story about him blowing up thinking he’d been fired after getting locked out of his computer by saying he’d never been locked out of his computer. One of the reporters followed up informing him that his own law suit says otherwise

It feels like Drill must have a tweet made for exactly for this sort of disaster class of a public statement
