Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 4)

Yeah. Trump has picked his lane and decided that he cannot win a game of wits against him so is going to take on the most classicaly handsome US politician since Kennedy by repeatedly drawing attention to him supposedly being ugly.

It’s a bold strategy

Here’s the new angle from the “respect our troops” lot - our sailors are pussies for complaining about the conditions the lack of planning has left them having to endure

The North Korea message is actually so bad, that it should be the only thing people talked about for at least a couple of days in relation to US politics, but there is going to be something perplexing to take the focus off this any moment now.

Well it’s Tuesday tomorrow… though that’s probably Oman getting a pardon from that threat.

A bit late, CNN—that was long overdue.

I think I read somewhere that other countries will need to mandate citizens going to the US must be fully vaccinated so not to bring anything back to their own countries, while for visitors from the US must be vaccinated before entering their countries (can this even be enforced?).

Sadly I think this rules out Buttigieg. The US is still too culturally backward to elect him. Imagine 30 years ago saying that the US would be too culturally backward to elect the equivalent of a leader that Ireland embraced with little fanfare.
The US is well on the way to Argentinian tin-pot status.

This is a great way of keeping Maga loons out of your country.

I mean, how much to be completely isolated from the Orange Sex Pest, preferably in another country where his idiotic voice, opinions, and even his Backpfeifengesicht is permanently hidden from view.

That kind of talk would spark a revolution in France .

If they don’t have the right types of butter on the Charles De Gaulle all he’ll breaks out .

Pretty sure it can be. Entrance to and from a country is the right of that country. When I travelled to Ghana, for example, a Yellow Fever vaccine was mandatory.

Not sure about the first part being enforcable, although I think it could easily be with some tightening up on immigration rules - think Australian/Kiwi style de-embarkation cards for every passanger which includes details of where you’ve travelled.

The 2nd part defenitely is enforcable

It can be and sometimes is,if we were heading for some countries

we all had to be vaccinated ,shown by a stamp in your vax book.

I’m sure at least one European nation considered it during Covid, maybe France.

Far more justified when they are the country creating it with their health policies.
