I think what I’m trying to say is that the seriousness with which you must take Trump is more often simply because he has said a thing. We all know he is liable to do dangerous things, but that is largely unrelated to the things he says. However, very often the things he is willing to say is dangerous in itself just for having said it. Even when we know he is not going to act on it, that fact it has been uttered out into the world and eroded something important in the global order is something that other countries need to be responding to.

Very true.
I suppose what I was trying to say, is that he forces states and NGOs etc., to consider a very broad spectrum of actions derived from words he utters. It’s difficult to intepret in Risk Analysis for instance (since time matters too, so you want to understand where he is going as soon as possible).
I very much agree that his language and words alone, are damaging to global stability, as well of course, to the social fabric of the United States itself.

I sat there myself, after having watched it, and philosophically considered which scenarios are possible where you are a victim of beastiality and how it was relevant to his question. I suppose, in history, people have been raped by horses and bulls. But usually probably due to human arrangements to make it happen.
I am sorry, but I find his answer spectacular. It is so hard to respect the system in the US when they put this guy in such a position. Unfathomable statement.

His answer is absolutely baffling. I understand that he was caught unprepared and under some pressure (I mean, the guy never appears to be prepared or know what he is talking about when it comes to the FBI), but it is spectacular that he spitballed that answer. Maybe his brain doesn’t work as fast as mine, but still. Surely his brain must have understood the moment his words came out, that his words lacked logic. But instead he doubled down with this sentence: “Applicants who’ve engaged in bestiality means they were victims of bestiality.”

They treat the inquisition like a joke because there is no accountability anymore for their ‘couldn’t-give-a-toss’ attitude..

I think there’s a big cocaine and other sustance dependency for a lot of that cabinet, amongst other worse vices. And it’s being exploited by the ones in charge, they will do anything they are told to keep their little secrets.

There is. Some of it is very visible. I suspect corruption around testing when it comes to security clearance.
Trump’s sons for instance, are very often visibly drugged on central stimulants; either cocaine or some type of amphetamine. Patel has the same vibes. Either he is using, and a lot, or he is impersonating someone who does.
But of course, I cannot prove this. But I recognice it, from voice to eyes and behaviour. What frustrates me most here, is the “there is one law for you, another for me” thing. If they (people like Patel) use cocaine, it is totally obvious that security clearance is a huge problem. Foreign intelligence services could blackmail through the dealer, as an example.
I suppose there might be impounded drugs that are not properly reported, or mysteriously does not get destroyed; but I don’t know. I don’t know how these people operate or how they get their drugs discretly and safely and are able to live the lifestyle they do.
