I’m wondering what the US Air Force is up to. They have removed all B1 bombers from Fairford and seemingly returned them to the US, seemingly for “a military rather than a political decision”.
Good, they were noisy buggers and we should never have allowed them to be used for this stupid war.

It is a military decision because those B1s are just wasting petrol flying daily over the north Atlantic. If you listen to MAGA (and parts of the reputable media, unfortunately), then this is because of some pro Iranians who were let out of prison in the UK, but if that was the case and there was a big terror threat, then they would have removed the open ammo dumps at the airfield and increased security; which has not really happened (according to credible UK military sources).
It is just a further sign that the US thinks fighting with Iran is more or less over (though it may not be).
