Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 4)

Found this quite interesting. There are maybe may layers to this that I’ve missed but it in a single strike gets the poverty vote ahead of the mid-terms. Obviously poverty is universal and the seeds being sowed are only going to be someone else’s problem downstream and by then it will go back to being a white genocide issue - the tumbler is perfectly pitched to go round and round!

Why are people so?

p.s. should divorce be a considered factor in the equation?

In response to the wish to bomb Californian cities … :see_no_evil_monkey:

Trying to imagine the reaction in 1940 if Churchill had told Adolf he could have Dover and Brighton, fairly predictable, you’d think, but then we are talking about a stable genius now???

Is it good that all the top “2020 was stolen” people are still in establishment positions?

Sigh…

Shakes head

Trump has started the Nobel Peace Prize Vs Trump Saga again :face_with_bags_under_eyes:

So tired of him injecting that nonsense into the political discourse and that regular thinking humans can barely escape it.

I come in here and just sit here shakinh my head at the drivel they spout, how can these people have power, they are truly idiots.

The perfect illustration of the Trump era

The majority of his voters have a completely made up version of him in their heads

BBC just went behind a subscription wall, who knew? I suspect that will gut the soft power that comes from being a respected global information source.

It has been for the US for about a year. I can still get it (with adverts) in Germany.

There has been a slow reduction in the BBC reach over the last 20 years. The UK government doesn’t really understand soft power, or at least they know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

Same for me in Switzerland.

Yeah I complained about it a while back. Stupid stupid decision.

Anyway, Vance when facing crticism that he is at the top of a fascist movement: "these crtiicisms are not from serious people. Anything people dont like is called fascist by these people and we’re not going to play stupid games debating that.

Vance when asked why socialism is bad: “because they are a bunch of poo poo head ninmuginses. And they have cooties”

Yep, the Beeb has been getting harder and harder to access here in the States. For years if I was going to be going on a road trip I would start my day with Radio 2 and start the early morning shows 5 hours later over here.

If it was a vacation my kids would roll their eyes, but some things are an institution!

The beeps, the time, the traffic report - and thousands of miles away I’m instantly thinking about being stuck on the M6 or whatever. Wogan, Evans, Ball, Kay, loads of others (I’m showing my age but I do think the quality went down over the years). Ken Bruce, Pop Master, etc. when the Pop Master jingle came on we’d have to have quiet in the car :joy:

All but gone now, on these distant shores anyway.
