EFL Cup / League Cup

At least one will fall you would assume. I’d like us to progress but not at the expense of the league, and it maybe the case if we press on with the numbers likely to be out.

Klopp talked about how stupid it is to play a two legged semi final in this competition today.

Don’t think anyone can disagree with that unless it’s for clicks

Who will be the match official Wednesday?

Someone called Paul Tierney, I think. Anybody heard of him?

Meanwhile two days before kickoff it is nowhere to be found who the referees will be for the four remaining Carabao cup matches, do they have something to hide … :innocent:

According to my livescore app this morning it is Madley.

I did find it odd it’s not on their official site as they’ve got them listed for January for their league games.

Kelleher
Neco Gomez Konate Tsimikas
Ox Morton Milner
Gordon Firmino Minamino

How many subs are allowed?

Just wouldn’t risk them if we have any hopes of the title.

Of all The Boss’s hot buttons, player welfare and safety is at the very top. With today’s news the PL will play on as scheduled through this festive period I do not expect him to risk any senior player in this match.

He referenced it post match yesterday:

“We’ve played Wednesday, Sunday and now Tuesday, it’s not possible —we don’t have the players. It can happen we might have another case or two so players will have to quarantine,” Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp told Sky Sports following Sunday’s 2–2 draw vs. Tottenham. "The 26th and the 28th—it’s really not possible.”

Arsenal reserves trashed Sunderland.

Yeh, but it was Sunderland.

Didn’t we trash Arsenals A-team 4-0 just the other day. :sunglasses:

We trash all the A teams unless some guy with a whistle intervenes. :sunglasses:

Even then we would have trashed them if we hadn’t had our entire midfield and best defender out.

We did trash them last season without Virgil, Joel and Gomez.

Well we beat Spurs twice…

Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs

Draw starts soon.

Where to watch?
