EFL Cup / League Cup

Here comes Timo twinkletoes…oh not yet…

2-2 at Anfield and 2-2 at Stamford Bridge. So we have to find a winner at Wembley.

Still strange that Ziyech is not at AFCON.

Was 1-1 at Anfield

So we win on away goals rule. :grinning:

Looking forward to Azpillicueta’s views on that elbow from Kante.

Sounds like Chelsea fans have got a new song, pinched from another club of course.

They will be the more difficult opponent to beat of the two, but I prefer us beating Chelsea anyway. But first things first, let’s beat Arsenal.

Is that spiderman in the crowd…Chelsea end nr corner.

You’d think Chelsea are the home team. Too dominant too good. Any team that’s comes to Anfield for 2nd leg shits themselves. But it is Spurs.

Boggles the mind how we didn’t beat them.

Oh wait. Paul Tierney.

These 2 teams make me fall asleep…spurs are dire…and Chelsea are cheats…

Good thing I’m not watching, usually can’t be bothered unless it’s on BBC and/or it directly concerns us e.g. Chelsea vs City in 2019-20.

Spurs are so mediocre it’s actually funny.

I missed the match between Spurs and Chelsea. Why are the players and officials standing around? Medical emergency?

So far, 5 League Cup semi final games (4 of which against Stoke and Southampton) under Klopp; 1 goal (Jordon Ibe). 0 in the last 3.

Hopefully we can do it in London, we’ll see what’s the team news by then, but I’m still confident we’ll sneak through with a serious team and serious performance.

If we play like we did in that first 20 I feel we will produce the chances, as I said to a friend I’d rather have taken a Jota goal than a sending off.
