Seems to be a bit of unrest brewing with sections of the Arsenal fan base about Arteta taking them as far as he can.

Arteta talking balls…

Surely even Arsenal fans will start to see that LegoMan has jumped the shark

What an absolute pillock! That’s right up there with Fergie’s ā€œthe opponent’s kit was too similar to oursā€

Why is there not a standard ball? Does seem crazy to use different balls for each competition. Do teams practice with different balls then?

Nike in the PL, Adidas in Europe, Mitre in the FA Cup and Puma in the League Cup.

However I do remember us in the CL in 00’s, pretty frequently, playing with our Nike PL ball.

You could’ve had foreign teams moaning at the time because of it.

Anyway it is stupid both ways, to have so many different balls in the first place and also moan publicly about it.

If teams don’t practice with all the equipment then they are unprofessional.
Its a stupid excuse.

The different comps have different ball sponsors

I know.

I don’t think it’s just the ball. He has to play every 3 days with a different ball.

Anyone know who we might draw in the next round if we go through???

Surprised no one’s mentioned this yet.

Arsenal are flying lately so I guess they will turn it around tonight.

I’d be happy to see Arsenal win 3-1

Do away goals count?

Yes they count exactly the same as home goals do.
